Troop Advance™ diatomaceous earth is a 100% Pure, Certified Organic non-toxic Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth (DE). DE is also known as Fossil Shell Flour, which is the fossilized remains of hard shelled algae called diatoms that are harvested and milled to a very fine powder.  DE works through physical force NOT chemical action. DE is microscopically sharp which cuts the waxy exoskeletons of pests causing them to dehydrate and die.
